Problem Note 36078: "An error occurred retrieving folder information from the repository" when navigating to a folder beneath SAS Folders

In SAS® Web Report Studio, the following error might occur when navigating to a folder beneath SAS Folders.
An error occurred retrieving folder information from the repository.
When you click Error Details, you might see this message:
SAS 2009-05-01 17:16:48,720 ERROR [2316b8e54128dd43:-17958d59:120fdbfd2a4:-79b0sasdemo] com.sas.apps.citation.model.repository.adapter.PathHelper - Unexpected error accessing this user's personal application folder. Root Cause: java.lang.NullPointerException
This error occurs if the folder name includes an ending parenthesis. For example, the message would appear if, beneath SAS Folders, you navigated to a folder with the following name:
